While COP28 delivered three significant energy pledges covering oil and gas emissions, renewables, and energy efficiency, meeting these commitments, as per the IEA, only constitutes 30% of the necessary emissions reductions to align with the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. We turn to the tools of export, agency, and project finance, exploring how we can best combine our financial strength and experience to meet this challenge.
