According to TXF Intelligence, the surge in ECA-backed debt within commodity trading houses has significantly expanded since pre-pandemic levels. Traders accessed a total of $3.454 billion in export finance in 2019 and $2.382 billion in 2020. Remarkably, 2023 witnessed a substantial increase, reaching a total volume of $16.392 billion. We bring together export financiers and commodity traders to discuss the outlook for this ever-growing dynamic and assess how they can collaborate more effectively to ensure a bright future.
